HER MARK STUDIO

Where Strategy

MEETS PERSONALITY

You’ve been working hard on bringing your vision to life, now it's time you got a website that helps you show up online with confidence. As your copywriter, I'll help you build the business of your dreams using your voice and your POV (plus a little bit of marketing strategy).

CONVERSION COPYWRITING FOR WOMEN

No. 01

My PURPOSE

Think of your website copy as the bridge between your vision and your audience. Done right, it's the thing that makes people choose you over someone else. So, what's my purpose? Writing copy that sets you apart, makes you feel 1000% more confident in your business, and inspires your audience to take ACTION.

No. 02

My
Style

In a word: conversational. The goal is to make you sound like you’re talking directly to your ideal client, not leading a corporate meeting. I'm not going to give you "what everyone else is doing" or generic sales jargon. The whole point of your website is to show your audience why you are the ideal choice, so why would we want you to blend in?

No. 03

my
METHOD

Good copy doesn’t just happen. It’s crafted. Carefully, thoughtfully, intentionally, and always with your brand’s voice leading the way. I'll always put human readers first (while also finding opportunities to please the search gods). I'll stalk the competition, absorb the words your audience uses, and pull from your own natural language to write uniquely-you copy.

IT started WHEN I realized playing small wasn't the move.

       ORIGIN
STORY

There are a lot of smart, talented website copywriters out there, but I promise that you’ll never find another like me.

And that's the thing about your website. It shouldn't be just a collection of words you think sound impressive or like that one competitor who's site you've stalked 67 times. It’s your chance to connect and stand out. Because there are plenty of people who offer the same services as you, with the same bells and the saaaame whistles. But what makes someone choose you? It’s your story. Your voice. Your personality.

And your copy is where it all comes to life.

If you're curious about my career before copywriting, picture The Devil Wears Prada

Before I was a copywriter, I was a communications consultant. (I know, I know....what does that even meeean?) Basically, it means I created strategies and wrote words to change hearts and minds.

It was a sweet gig in many ways, but it came with a few very important catches in the form of long hours, tiny raises, short-tempered bosses (and even shorter vacations). So, in 2019, I gave my 9-to-5 the side-eye (or maybe it was the middle finger...I forget), packed up my agency desk, and started my own thing.

I'm Elaine - Copywriter & Brand messaging strategist

I didn’t have it all figured out right away, but I knew one thing for sure: working for myself was for ME. Setting my own hours? Yes, please. Mid-day grocery shopping? Iconic. Answering only to myself instead of a micromanaging boss? Chef’s kiss.

That freedom breathed new life into my career, and it also gave me clarity. As I started digging into the whole working-for-yourself thing, I realized how many women out there were building incredible businesses but struggled to talk about who they are and what they offer in a way that felt clear and authentic. I knew I could help.

By focusing on copywriting for women, I could be part of their story. As a copywriter, I could help other women show up confidently, share their unique voices, build brands they’re obsessed with and a life that they loved.

Because words aren’t just words. They’re how you connect, inspire, and show the world what you’re all about. So, are you in?

speaking of personality...here's mine in a nutshell:

Community > Competition

When one of us wins, we all win. And winning starts with a brand that doesn't sound like anyone else's. Inspiration is great. Straight-up copying? Not so much.

Progress, Not Perfection

Waiting for the “right moment” is just procrastination in a cuter outfit. Honestly, this one is a huge growth edge for me, but I’m working on taking messy action to get moving, growing, and learning along the way. (Perfection is overrated anyway, right? )

Keeping it Real, Bay-Bee

Translation: Authenticity is king and vulnerability is queen. Being yourself--and being transparent--is an irresistible combo. People want to see the real you, not the version of yourself you *think* you should be.
